About the Role
Join our team as a Catering Assistant and play a vital role in delivering high-quality food and support services within a dynamic health unit. This hands‐on position offers variety, with responsibilities across kitchen, laundry, and housekeeping, ensuring a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for clients. What We're Looking For Essential Criteria
* Strong teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills across diverse environments
* Flexible, reliable, and able to meet deadlines while working under general direction
* Basic experience in housekeeping, catering, or laundry services
* Understanding of food safety, infection control, and safe work practices
* Sound literacy, numeracy, and basic computer skills (e.g. Microsoft Office)
Desired Criteria
* Year 11 completion and/or current First Aid certificate
* Experience in housekeeping, catering, laundry, and basic computer use
* Manual handling skills and awareness of Equal Employment Opportunity principles
