Mission System Manager – Naval Communications Station Harold E Holt (NCSHEH), Exmouth, WA
Reporting to the Program Manager, the Mission System Manager leads a large, diverse team of trade and technical professionals directly supporting critical mission systems and services at HEH Naval Communication Station.
The role includes team performance management, KPI management, customer liaison, scheduling, solution development, and project management to satisfy contractual or internally scoped requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead and collaborate within a cross‐functional environment to manage budget, resources, and reporting to ensure effective execution of maintenance activities.
* Ensure quality and EH&S standards are built and maintained in alignment with company policies.
* Plan, schedule, and manage maintenance requirements and requests in accordance with program priorities.
* Monitor and control maintenance activities to ensure completion within budget, schedule, and required quality outcomes.
* Practice excellent stakeholder management to maintain effective relationships.
* Act in accordance with company expectations relating to professional workplace behaviour.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Demonstrated experience keeping teams safe, leading with safety as a core value.
* Experience supervising a team consisting of various trade and technical professions.
* Experience managing maintenance in a systematic way to maximize asset performance.
* Exposure to Engineering Change Management processes.
* Diploma in Information Technology, Telecommunications, Electronics, or Engineering or related discipline.
* Diploma in Leadership & Management or equivalent.
* On‐the‐job experience improving processes to deliver results for customers and teams.
* Eligible to obtain and maintain a Negative Vetting Level 1 Security Clearance as required.
