Key Responsibilities
We are seeking a reliable Delivery Driver to join our team in North Hobart, TAS. You will play a vital role in ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods to valued customers.
* Picking and packing customer orders with precision and care
* Operating a medium rigid truck safely and efficiently
* Driving the truck to transport goods to various locations while adhering to schedules and routes
* Loading, unloading and securing goods during transportation with accuracy
* Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with customers
* Maintaining accurate records of deliveries and any issues that may arise
* Ensuring compliance with all relevant road traffic laws and company policies and procedures
About the Role
* A current, valid medium rigid driver's license with a clean driving record is essential
* Previous experience as a delivery driver or in a similar transportation role is highly regarded
* Strong customer service and communication skills are required
* Good teamwork and collaboration are expected
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills are necessary
* A commitment to safety and proactive risk management is paramount
* Familiarity with the local area and knowledge of best routes is an advantage
