About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Trades Assistant/Work Execution Officer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical work experience, be proficient in SAP-based Computerised Maintenance Management Systems, and possess excellent communication skills. They will be responsible for managing maintenance documentation, procuring materials, coordinating contractors, and assisting maintenance technicians with field works.
Key Responsibilities:
* Scoping mechanical and electrical work activities
* Procurement of materials and creation of work packs
* Management of maintenance documentation on Computerised Maintenance Management System
* Coordination of contractors including obtaining quotes and documentation
* Assisting maintenance technicians in field works
Requirements
To succeed in this role, you will need:
* Previous labouring or trade (mechanical) experience highly regarded
* Experience with SAP-based Computerised Maintenance Management Systems
* Experience preparing permit to work documentation and risk assessments
* Safety is at the forefront of everything you do
* Currently hold, or ability to obtain appropriate Defence Security Clearance
* Savvy IT/computer literacy & skills
