* Salary: $33.57 per hour + 25% loading plus Superannuation and Salary Sacrifice benefits – AHA2

*This role attracts a fixed allowance that ensures a minimum salary equivalent to AHA2 (third increment) pro-rated, based on the Undertaking as within the Allied Health Professionals, Assistants and Psychologists Enterprise Agreement 2025.

About the Role

Northern Adelaide Local Health Network (NALHN) is eager to recruit Allied Health Assistants to work in our dynamic, growing and supportive team, to help us deliver exceptional care to our community.

Responsibilities

In this role, you'll support our dietetics team in delivering high-quality nutritional care to patients across various clinical settings, including assisting with stocktake, diet quantifications, administrative tasks and nutrition screens. This role offers excellent exposure to diverse patient populations and the opportunity to develop your skills within a supportive, multidisciplinary environment.

You'll work alongside experienced dietitians and healthcare professionals, contributing to patient assessments, implementing nutrition care plans and supporting community health initiatives. This position provides valuable hands‐on experience in clinical dietetics whilst making a tangible impact on patient wellbeing.

These casual roles offer more than flexibility – they provide exposure to a broad range of clinical settings where no two shifts are the same. You'll have the opportunity to expand your clinical experience, strengthen your skills, and make a meaningful impact with every patient interaction.

Qualifications

To be eligible for this position, you must possess or be undertaking a Certificate 3 in Allied Health Assistance or equivalent.

You should possess genuine enthusiasm for nutrition and patient care, strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within our multidisciplinary team.
