Complete Staff Solutions are seeking an experienced and safety focused Landfill Operator. This role offers a consistent work schedule and the opportunity to contribute to essential waste management services within the community. Reporting to senior staff, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining a range of plant and equipment to support landfill operations.
Pay Rate: $36.63 per hour
Key Responsibilities
* Operate plant and equipment to carry out routine waste management tasks, including loading skip bins, moving stockpiles, and landfilling activities
* Ensure all activities comply with Environment Protection Authority (EPA) standards and licence conditions
* Identify and implement appropriate corrective actions where required to maintain compliance with WHS policies and procedures
Applicants must hold
* Construction Induction Certificate (WHS White Card)
* Nationally accredited competency for: Front End Loader (LL)
* Nationally accredited competency for: Excavator (LE)
* Nationally accredited competency for: Self‐propelled compactor
* SafeWork High Risk Licence – Forklift (LF)
* Current Class HR Driver Licence
What We're Looking For
* Proven experience operating landfill or heavy plant equipment
* Strong understanding of safety and environmental compliance requirements
* Ability to work independently with limited supervision
* Reliable and committed to maintaining high operational standards
