I am seeking a highly motivated Associate Commercial Manager/Business Partner to provide strategic commercial support to senior operations and financial leadership teams. This is a 2IC leadership position to support the Commercial Business Partner. This role is pivotal in driving value creation through financial analysis, contractual compliance, and performance reporting. You will lead and develop a commercial team, ensuring accurate month-end close processes, insightful reporting, and effective stakeholder engagement. A strong commitment to promoting and supporting our Safety Culture framework is essential.
Your new role
Deliver accurate and timely close processes.
Provide clear, actionable financial reporting and commentary to support decision-making.
Manage monthly outlooks, 90-day forecasts, annual budgets, and multi-year plans.
Build commercial models for contract changes.
Ensure contractual price escalations and variations are implemented effectively.
Offer commercial guidance to operational leadership.
Collaborate with FP&A;, business development, supply chain, and legal teams.
Act as the commercial contact for client queries.
Lead, coach, and develop a high-performing commercial team.
Prepare analysis and presentation materials for budgeting, forecasting, and month-end processes.
What you'll need to succeed
Degree in Finance/Accounting.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.
Strong technical and analytical skills.
Proven ability to manage team workflow effectively.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
CA/CPA qualified (or equivalent overseas designation).
Experience with ORACLE accounting systems (desirable)
