About the Role
As the Maintenance Officer, you will assist with the daily maintenance, presentation, and upkeep of infrastructure, landscaped grounds, and facilities across our business locations.
Duties & Responsibilities
* Undertake a range of maintenance and groundskeeping duties to ensure the continual operation of Freshwater Apartments and The PumpHouse Restaurant, including swimming pool management, landscaping, waste management, basic plumbing, electrical (test and tag), and handyman tasks.
* Contribute to the development and upkeep of maintenance schedules and procedures to ensure optimum presentation and maintenance of the property, and consistent operation of all services (electricity, water, gas, telephones, sewerage, etc).
* Undertake garden and property maintenance of company accommodation.
* Engage and coordinate third‐party contractors as required and within prescribed limits.
* Oversee equipment and vehicle fleet ensuring adherence to cleaning and maintenance schedules; maintain accurate maintenance records, books, and manuals for each vehicle and piece of equipment.
* Order maintenance stock and supplies, and manage inventory control and logistics within prescribed limits.

About You
* Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar position.
* Strong working knowledge of reticulation systems, pool management and filtration systems.
* Self‐motivated, organised with a positive outlook, and able to contribute to a strong team culture.
* Be a problem solver with a keen eye for detail.
* Possess a safety‐first mindset, with a demonstrated history of compliance with company policies and broader regulations.
* Physically fit and healthy with the ability to work largely outdoors in hot and humid conditions.
* Hold a current C Class driver's licence.
* Test & Tag qualification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
* Aboriginal cultural competency or awareness (desirable).
