Key Responsibilities
* Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable
* Perform daily and monthly bank reconciliations
* Process payroll and employee expense claims
* Prepare and assist with BAS/IAS reporting
* Maintain general ledger and financial records
* Generate financial reports for management review
* Monitor hospital billing and revenue tracking
* Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and healthcare regulations
* Support audits and financial reviews
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Officer
* Experience in hospital, healthcare, or medical industry preferred
* Proficiency in Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks, or similar accounting software
* Strong knowledge of BAS, payroll, and GST compliance
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
* High attention to detail and strong numerical accuracy
* Relevant accounting qualification or certification preferred
