Senior Water Engineer Role
The ideal candidate will have experience working in water and wastewater infrastructure projects, preferably with 7+ years of service. A degree qualification in civil or mechanical engineering is required.
As a senior water engineer, you will be responsible for developing design solutions related to water supply and sewerage systems, including pipelines and pump stations.
* Strong knowledge of current statutory requirements, engineering standards, and contract requirements is essential.
* Excellent communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration with a range of professionals in a team environment.
A chartered engineering status (CPEng) or willingness to obtain it is also necessary. The selected candidate will possess strong technical expertise and the ability to lead and work with engineers in a team setting.
Experience applying industry standards such as SA Water standards is required. Knowledge of quality assurance, risk management, safety in design, HAZOP, and design review processes is also necessary.
