About the role Reporting to the Manager LV Systems Engineering, this role will lead and coordinate the delivery function for Low Voltage (LV) electrical works, overseeing implementation activities, reviewing engineering outputs, and supporting field teams to ensure high quality, compliant, and efficient delivery across the asset lifecycle.
Providing functional leadership and coordinate Queensland Rail's delivery of LV (and HV/LV where applicable) electrical works and assets, including design reviews, acceptance testing, commissioning, and handover processes, ensuring compliance with Australian Standards and Queensland Rail specifications
Lead, manage, and develop work teams assigned to electrical delivery functions, providing clear direction, coordinating workloads, supporting effective escalation pathways, and ensuring delivery outcomes align with project, safety, and organisational requirements
Build and sustain delivery team capability through coaching, technical guidance, mentoring, and the implementation of best practice, while acting as the primary escalation point for complex delivery-related technical issues
Qualifications
Hold a Driver’s license & a Advance Diploma in Engineering
Possess CPR ticket
A background in low voltagesystems
Have excellent communication, building relationships with stakeholder and experience working with third party contractors

The salary for this role is PT5.1 starting from $160,000
