4Cyte Pathology is one of Australia's largest privately owned pathology laboratories. We are seeking enthusiastic and self‐motivated full‐time, part‐time, or casual data entry employees to join our rapidly growing team. Day‐time and evening shifts are available from Monday to Friday.
Location: Sydney, NSW
Responsibilities
* Accurately transcribing and interpreting patient and pathology request details into corresponding fields within the Laboratory Information System (LIS).
* Maintaining data entry standards by following relevant SOPs and completing competency assessments.
* Verifying entered patient and request details by reviewing, correcting, deleting, or re‐entering data.
* Handling queries relating to data entry in a timely and professional manner.
Key Requirements
* Excellent data entry skills, including high attention to detail, accuracy and quick typing skills (minimum typing speed: 70 wpm and accuracy: 95%), knowledge of touch typing mandatory.
* An outstanding work ethic and ability to work autonomously and as part of a team to achieve and maintain our commitment to service excellence and patient care.
* Knowledge of grammar and punctuation.
* Strong analytical and problem‐solving skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Ability to prioritise and work to time constraints.
* Ability to maintain a high degree of discretion, confidentiality, and professionalism.
Desired Attributes
* Understanding of medical terminology.
* Ability to perform in a fast‐paced work environment.
* Enthusiastic and energetic attitude toward work.
* Strong computer literacy, experience using Ultra highly desirable, but not required.
* Experience in a similar role desirable, however not essential as training will be provided to the right candidate.
