The Role
As a Membership Consultant, you'll play a key role in driving membership growth while creating exceptional first impressions and member experiences within the club. This is a fast-paced, people-focused role suited to someone who is confident, motivated by results, and genuinely enjoys connecting with people. Success in this role comes from strong energy, resilience, relationship-building, and the ability to create a welcoming and positive experience from the very first interaction.
You'll be responsible for generating leads, conducting tours, converting enquiries into memberships, supporting member retention, and contributing to the overall energy and success of the club environment.
What you'll be doing:
* Generate leads through prospecting, referrals, guest passes, outreach, local partnerships, and community engagement.
* Conduct personalised club tours, uncover member goals, present membership solutions, and confidently close sales.
* Manage the full sales journey from enquiry and follow-up through to onboarding and member engagement.
* Build strong relationships with prospective and current members to create a welcoming and supportive club environment.
* Follow structured sales systems and contribute to individual and club KPI performance.
* Respond to enquiries across phone, email, social media, and in-club interactions professionally and efficiently.
* Support member retention initiatives and assist with member account enquiries where required.
* Maintain strong product knowledge across memberships, retail, supplements, Personal Training, and club services.
* Create engaging social media content and support club marketing initiatives that drive brand awareness and lead generation.
* Work collaboratively within a fast-paced, high-energy, and team-focused environment.
* Maintain high presentation standards across reception and front-of-house areas.
* Bring energy, urgency, positivity, and professionalism to the club floor every day.

* Previous sales or customer service experience preferred, with fitness industry experience highly regarded.
* Flexibility to work across gym operating hours, including mornings, evenings, and weekends where required.
