Remuneration

Total Remuneration $139,486 to $154,893 pa (including salary of $117,868 to $130,887 plus 17% superannuation and leave loading).

Locations: CQUniversity Rockhampton, Cairns, Townsville, Mackay, Gladstone, Sydney or Melbourne (Relocation support available).

Role Overview

As Manager – Marketing Insights and Portfolio, you will lead the University's strategic marketing approach by using data and insight to connect with prospective students and drive domestic recruitment performance. This key leadership role within the Global Brand and Marketing Directorate involves shaping how market intelligence and course portfolio insights inform marketing activity across the University.

Key Responsibilities
* Lead a high‐performing team to deliver meaningful insights and translate complex data into clear, actionable strategies.
* Oversee the management of the domestic course portfolio, ensuring accurate and compelling information is delivered across all prospective student touchpoints.
* Lead market research and student surveys to guide portfolio changes and support strategic decision‐making.
* Monitor student recruitment performance and deliver actionable recommendations to senior leadership.
* Collaborate closely with the Deputy Director, Customer Strategy to inform university‐wide marketing plans.
* Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure data initiatives align with organisational goals.
Qualifications & Experience
* Proven experience with education product development, including product portfolio management and fit to existing strengths, products and campaigns, and the prospective student journey.
* Demonstrated marketing management experience, particularly the collection, collation and interpretation of marketing data and associated information.
* Excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills with proven experience working with information sets; relationship building and networking, negotiation, consultation and public speaking.
* Experience in marketing management, including analysing and interpreting data, market trends and performance insights to inform strategy.
* Relevant postgraduate qualifications (or progress toward) and/or extensive experience in marketing, with demonstrated leadership expertise.
