Opportunity
GRDC is seeking a Crop Protection Officer to assist the Senior Manager Crop Protection and the business group in developing technically appropriate investment projects, aligning with GRDC's purpose.
Responsibilities
* Provide project and administrative support on contract management required across the group's projects.
* Work closely with the crop protection team, floating across the group to learn and develop skills in the role.
Qualifications and Experience
* Experience in the agricultural sector.
* Some project management experience, with familiarity working across research and development.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Organizational skills, able to multitask.
* Qualifications in science, agricultural science or equivalent.
* Ability to fit into and work closely with the team.
Requirements
* Some travel.
* Some out-of-hours work required.
* Valid driver's licence.
* Australian citizenship required.
* Hybrid WFH and office working arrangement.
