Due to continued growth, investment in automation, and increasing project demand, an opportunity has arisen for a Senior Sheetmetal Estimator / Manufacturing Specialist to join their technical team.
This is a rare opportunity for someone with strong sheetmetal knowledge to move into a senior office-based role where your expertise will directly influence production efficiency, customer outcomes, and project profitability. The Opportunity Working closely with customers, production teams, and management, you'll be responsible for reviewing drawings, preparing quotations, developing manufacturing solutions, and ensuring projects are accurately scoped before entering production.
This role would suit an experienced Sheetmetal Estimator, Draftsperson, Manufacturing Engineer, Production Planner, or Senior Fabrication Professional looking to leverage their technical expertise in a stable, long-term position.
Key Responsibilities
* Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications and customer requirements
* Prepare accurate quotations and cost estimates for sheetmetal fabrication projects
* Develop manufacturing solutions for laser cutting, folding, rolling and fabrication processes
* Create and modify technical drawings using AutoCAD and Inventor
* Generate flat patterns and production-ready documentation
* Liaise with customers to clarify requirements and provide technical advice
* Work closely with production teams to ensure efficient project delivery
* Identify opportunities for process improvement and manufacturing efficiencies
* Support the ongoing implementation of advanced automation technologies
About You
* Strong background within sheetmetal fabrication or manufacturing
* Experience estimating, drafting, manufacturing engineering or production planning
* Advanced ability to interpret engineering drawings and specifications
* Proficiency with AutoCAD and Inventor
* Understanding of laser cutting, folding, rolling and fabrication processes
* Strong knowledge of sheetmetal materials and manufacturing methods
* Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability
* Strong communication skills and customer-focused mindset
* Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities

Working Hours
* Monday – Thursday: 7:30am – 4:30pm
