We are seeking an experienced and proactive Land Development Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end delivery of residential and mixed-use land divisions, from feasibility through to title issue.
About the Role
In this position, you will manage multiple land development projects across metropolitan and regional South Australia. You will coordinate consultants, contractors, authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and in line with all state planning and infrastructure requirements.
You'll be responsible for driving project outcomes and maintaining solid relationships with government bodies, utility authorities, and industry partners.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage land division projects in accordance with PlanSA and the Planning, Development and Infrastructure (PDI) Act
- Prepare and coordinate land division applications, including Statements of Requirements and consent pathways
- Liaise with local councils, SCAP, and relevant state referral agencies
- Coordinate with SA Water on water and sewer design, augmentation, and approvals
- Manage surveyors, civil engineers, traffic engineers, environmental consultants, and other technical specialists
- Oversee servicing designs, civil construction, stormwater management, and road/open-space requirements
- Monitor and manage approval conditions to achieve timely Section 138 clearances
- Coordinate Lands Titles Office (LTO) lodgements and ensure smooth progression to title issue
- Track budgets, schedules, procurement, and project reporting
- Identify risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure quality project outcomes
About You
- Experience in land development, civil infrastructure, or land division project management
- Strong understanding of South Australian planning, engineering, and approval processes
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work both autonomously and collaboratively
- Tertiary qualifications in engineering, planning, project management, or a related field (preferred)
