About the Role
Ahrens is seeking experienced Mechanical Supervisors and Rigging Supervisors to join our team delivering a major project at the CSBP facility on the Kwinana Strip.
These 6-month contract opportunities will provide frontline leadership to site crews and subcontractors, ensuring works are completed safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
These roles offer a competitive rate, with a potential project completion bonus.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily site activities and workforce allocation
* Coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and project resources
* Monitor productivity, quality and project progress
* Ensure compliance with safety systems, permits and client requirements
* Conduct site inspections, pre-starts and toolbox meetings
* Maintain project documentation and reporting requirements
* Assist with planning and scheduling activities
* Provide leadership, mentoring and support to site personnel
* Liaise with engineers, project management and client representatives
* Support successful project delivery outcomes
Mechanical Supervisor
You will lead mechanical installation, maintenance and commissioning activities involving rotating equipment, piping systems, structural and mechanical works.
You will oversee rigging and lifting operations, ensuring all lifting activities are executed safely, efficiently and in accordance with approved lift plans and site requirements.
* Previous supervisory experience within industrial, mining or construction environments
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Working at Heights and Confined Space certification
* Current Australian Driver's Licence
* Strong commitment to safety, quality and team performance
Additional for Rigging Supervisor
* High Risk Work Licence and rigging qualifications
* Extensive experience managing complex lifting operations
