Casual Revenue Officer Opening at SALHN
As a Casual Revenue Officer, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring the financial well‑being of SA Health's Southern Adelaide Local Health Network. Your responsibilities will span accounts receivable processing, debt recovery management, and accurate revenue collection – pivotal functions that keep our healthcare operations running smoothly. This casual position offers the perfect blend of challenge and flexibility, allowing you to make a meaningful impact while maintaining a healthy work‑life balance.
About the role:
Reporting to the Manager, Recovery and Receipting Ops, some of your duties as the Casual Revenue Officer may involve:
* Hospital Billing and Private Practice administration processes.
* Generation of claims from Medicare, Health Funds and other third parties.
* Collection of cash and debtors.
* Processing of approved debt waivers and write‑offs.
About you:
* Previous experience in identifying customer needs, development of service strategies, provision of quality customer service.
* Experience in the use of Spreadsheet Applications.
* Demonstrated experience in use of computerised accounting and billing systems that are relevant to hospital or medical billing and receipting functions.
* Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with customers and colleagues.
