As the Cloud Infrastructure and Services Architect, you will spearhead the development of secure, scalable, and cost-effective cloud solutions for ARDC. You'll collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to design future-ready, interoperable services that align with ARDC's strategic goals in digital research infrastructure. This role offers you the chance to lead architectural initiatives, enhance service resilience, and drive innovation across national research environments.**Your responsibilities will include:*** **Lead Architecture & Design:** Shape and evolve cloud architectures to align with ARDC strategy and cybersecurity standards.* **Drive Integration & Interoperability:** Oversee integration and reusability of digital infrastructure for seamless access and consistent service delivery.* **Enhance Security & Compliance:** Embed cybersecurity and regulatory compliance into architectural decisions.* **Engage Stakeholders:** Act as a trusted advisor, translating complex needs into actionable strategies.**You may be a great fit if:**You are an experienced cloud architect with a strong understanding of cloud security principles and the ability to design complex, interoperable solutions that support research workflows and align with organisational goals.**You may also:*** Have experience designing and implementing complex cloud architectures in digital research environments.* Be familiar with research computing needs and federated cloud environments.* Possess exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills.* Have proven experience in architectural documentation and cross-functional design efforts.* Hold architecture certification in cloud platforms and experience in large, federated environments.For further information please refer to the attached PD.**What we offer you!**

The Nectar Research Cloud is a national eResearch infrastructure initiative that enables access to national computing infrastructure (Australia's national supercomputer facility NCI), software, and support to conduct data analysis at scale across multiple research disciplines, supported by Research Computing Services (RCS).**Be Yourself**
