Overview
Liverpool City Council is seeking passionate and dedicated Diploma Trained Early Childhood Educators to join our team, supporting the Early Childhood Teacher in the design, implementation and evaluation of high-quality inquiry-based educational curriculums for children attending our services. The Council owns and operates six Early Education and Care Centres and two Preschools across the LGA. Our services have been rated as National Quality Standards for several years, and we value a positive, inclusive, motivated and collaborative workplace culture.
Responsibilities
* Work alongside an experienced Early Childhood Teacher and the education team to develop and nurture a curriculum and learning environment.
* Support the development of strong nurturing relationships that foster curiosity, critical thinking, and a love of learning.
* Contribute to the design, implementation and evaluation of educational programs within our services.
Qualifications
* Diploma of Children's Services (essential).
* ACECQA-approved child protection training.
* First aid certificate (essential).
* Detailed knowledge of child development, contemporary early childhood theories/approaches, and Early Childhood Regulations.

This position is subject to a working with children check. A National Police Check and may be required pre-employment medical checks.
