About this Role
This position is responsible for overseeing the daily food and beverage provisions to meet Journey Beyond's operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
* Lead staff training initiatives, contribute to development of Navigator and other employee training tools.
* Source new products, maintain inventory management systems, and provide product updates.
* Assist procurement process, guide purchasing team, and implement improvements to supplier communications.
* Develop and maintain process flow, including work instructions.
* Manage GSR Food Safety System, including employee training.
* Maintain high standards of food quality, oversee stock receipt processes, sampling processes, and specification management.
* Support POS system administration through REVEL.
* Collaborate with stock controllers and ordering teams through COUPA.
GSR Food Safety System & HACCP Management:
* Actively gather, sort, file, and report on all company food handling activities and those of partners. Provide educational support to GSR employees on safe food handling practices and food safety protocols.
* Maintain quality inventory systems and procedures through training and support to the GSR Warehouse Manager and warehouse team.
* Lead, coach, and guide staff in their responsibilities related to the Food Safety Plan.
* Manage data flow from functional areas to reporting stages.
* Maintain strict administration around the food safety system in line with the plan and procedures.
* Identify areas for improvement within the plan and take corrective actions.
* Conduct regular internal audits to ensure compliance with GSR HACCP, FSANZ, and general food safety legislation.
* Coordinate all activities within the food safety plan, such as Audits, Reviews, Cleaning, Training, and Improvements.
* Verify all stock received into GSR warehouse meets quality and food safety standards, addressing any issues in accordance with the HACCP plan.
