Purpose Develop and create project capital cost estimates for the Surat & Bowen Basins to provide the Business accurate and consistent cost estimates to support project evaluation decisions and Business budget planning. Position key accountabilities Maintain company CAPEX cost norms by utilising the current Company contractual arrangements and return cost data to build appropriate Capex cost norms for the Surat and Bowen development. Develop CAPEX cost estimates for project evaluation and budget planning by understanding and practicing cost estimating best practice to deliver CAPEX cost estimates to meet business requirements and timelines. Own cost estimate delivery by accepting responsibility for the compilation of the Total Installed Cost (TIC) for project cost estimates and providing transparency and auditability of the completed product. Coordinate internal stakeholders and external contractors by instructing and controlling the estimating effort by internal and external resources to deliver cost estimates to meet Company standards and timeframes. Participate actively support the Company's commitment to occupational health and safety and the environment by actively participating in safety and environmental discussions and initiatives General requirements Qualifications: University degree [OR] First degree [OR] Other Professional Qualification General experience: Up to 6 years Specific requirements Broad experience in project estimation including required deliverables, analysis, recommendations and relevant documentation. Expert user knowledge of CANDY cost estimating software. Experience in probabilistic and deterministic cost risk analysis and tools. Knowledge of industry standards, codes and other requirements as well as estimating tools and systems. Ability to gather, analyse and present necessary information concisely and accurately. Ability to manage Changes, Risks and Interfaces (with multiple stakeholders). Previous experience in large scale projects (>AUD 100 million). Desirable CSG experience, with knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements specific to CSG. Planning and Cost Control tools and systems. Experience in other areas of project services such as planning and schedule risk analysis. Information/Knowledge management. SAP (PS or PM modules). Leadership experience.
