Role Overview
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Digital Program Manager to lead the delivery of the Digital Sales and Self-Service Channel components of a major IT Transformation Program within a Tier 1 Telecommunications Provider.
This is a senior leadership role suited to a delivery professional with deep experience managing complex, enterprise-scale digital transformation programs spanning web, mobile app, middleware/API, BSS/OSS integration, architecture, testing, vendors, and business stakeholders. The successful candidate will bring strong program governance discipline, excellent stakeholder management capability, and a proven record delivering customer-facing digital channels in large, multi-vendor telco environments.
The role requires someone equally comfortable operating at executive, business, architecture, and delivery-team levels, with the ability to drive outcomes across both Agile and hybrid enterprise delivery models.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead end-to-end delivery of digital sales and self-service channel initiatives across web and mobile applications
* Manage program scope, plan, schedule, budget, RAID, dependencies, governance, and reporting in line with PMI program and project management disciplines
* Drive delivery across the full software development lifecycle, including requirements, design, build, integration, testing, release, and operational readiness
* Coordinate delivery across business, digital, architecture, security, testing, operations, and vendor teams
* Manage complex dependencies across BSS, OSS, CRM, order management, billing, and enterprise integration domains
* Provide strong leadership across onshore and offshore vendor teams, including India-based delivery teams
* Ensure clear translation of business requirements into delivery-ready artefacts including epics, features, user stories, acceptance criteria, interface definitions, and delivery plans
* Partner closely with product, design, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver high-quality digital customer experiences
* Oversee delivery governance across Agile, Waterfall, and hybrid delivery streams, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and transformation milestones
* Drive issue resolution, decision-making, and cross-workstream alignment in a fast-paced, high-visibility program environment
* Ensure robust testing and quality management across functional, integration, performance, accessibility, security, operational, and user acceptance testing phases
* Support executive and program-level reporting with clear, concise communication of status, risks, decisions, and delivery outlook
* Embed structured change, release, and operational readiness practices within an ITIL-aligned environment
Required Experience
Program and Delivery Leadership
* 10+ years' experience in program and project management, with significant experience in complex enterprise technology delivery
* Proven experience as a Senior Program Manager / Digital Program Manager delivering large-scale transformation programs
* Extensive experience managing vendor-side delivery, including distributed onshore and offshore teams
Telecommunications Domain Experience
* Demonstrated experience working within a Tier 1 Telco
* Strong background delivering Digital Sales and Self-Service Channels
* Strong understanding of web and mobile app delivery
Tools and Technology Environment
The successful candidate should have strong familiarity with enterprise digital delivery environments including many of the following:
* Figma
* Adobe Experience Manager (AEM)
* Oracle BRM
* Oracle Fusion
* ASAP
Technical Delivery Experience
The ideal candidate will have strong practical experience managing and governing delivery across the following areas:
* Planning and delivery management
* Executive and program reporting
* Requirements definition and management
