WHAT ARE WE OFFERING?

SA Health is offering multiple opportunities to work within a public healthcare setting delivering high‐quality, confidential, and customer‐focused administrative services to patients, staff, and visitors across our Victor Harbor Health Service teams. All roles are ongoing (permanent) for the following hours:

* Administrative Officer, General Medicine – Part‐time 18.75 hours per week
* Administrative Officer, Midwifery – Part‐time 33.75 hours per week
* Administrative Officer, Pre‐Admissions Clinic – Part‐time 15 hours per week
* Administrative Officer, Medical Records – Part‐time 35.6 hours per week
* Administration Officer - Renal - Part‐time 10.12 hours per week

These roles support the delivery of safe, effective care through professional reception services and accurate patient administration.

In all roles, you will work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team, contributing to a range of ward‐based administrative functions including patient admissions and discharges, medical records, reporting, billing, and clerical support, while upholding SA Health values and service standards.

HOW WILL YOU CONTRIBUTE?

* Provide high‐quality customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and the general public through courteous, professional, and efficient communication both in person and over the phone.
* Deliver effective administrative support services including patient admissions, medical records management, data entry, word processing, and maintaining accurate electronic and hardcopy records.
* Support communication systems within the health service through management of paging, public address systems, and in‐house information and entertainment networks.
* Contribute to continuous improvement and teamwork by supporting quality improvement activities, maintaining a customer‐focused approach, and assisting across administrative functions where required.
* Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety requirements, organisational policies, records management standards, and cultural awareness expectations to maintain a safe, professional, and inclusive workplace.
