Role Details
Category: Community Services
Commitment: Regular – more than 6 months
Type of Work: Companionship & Social Support, Food Preparation & Service, Fundraising & Events, Governance, Boards & Committees
Time Required: Members attend one or two meetings per month (approximately 2 hours each), with frequency decided collaboratively by the club. In addition, allow 2–6 hours per month to assist with events, fundraising or community activities. Total commitment is approximately 4–8 hours minimum monthly (involvement is as much as you choose). Induction and orientation may require a small additional time commitment in the first 1–2 months.
Training: Full induction into Lions Clubs International will be provided, along with access to online training modules and resources. Ongoing mentoring and support will be available. Members are encouraged to explore optional training in leadership, project coordination, event management and community engagement.
