Description:
We are seeking a talented individual to join our Financial Lines team at Marsh. The role is hybrid, requiring a minimum of three days per week in the office. You will manage claims across Directors' & Officers' (D&O), Professional Indemnity, and other Financial Lines classes of business, supporting SMEs, large corporates, and ASX‐listed clients. Your responsibilities include providing trusted client advice, liaising with brokers, insurers, and internal stakeholders, and delivering positive claims outcomes.
Responsibilities:
* Manage Financial Lines claims with a focus on client advocacy and quality service.
* Support clients from initial notification through to settlement, providing clear advice and safeguarding their interests.
* Provide guidance on policy coverage and interpretation, helping clients where indemnity is declined.
* Respond to client and broker queries and liaise with insurers, claimants, and external service providers.
* Manage moderate to complex claims in line with company processes and Client Service Agreements.
* Identify matters for referral and collaborate with the Advocacy team on claims‐related issues.
Required Qualifications:
* Experience in insurance claims, ideally within Financial Lines.
* Clear written and verbal communication skills.
* Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with clients, insurers, and other stakeholders.
* Experience managing claims with attention to process, detail, and client outcomes.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience advising on policy coverage and claims strategy within Financial Lines.
* Legal or insurance qualifications such as a Law degree or ANZIIF (not essential).
* Ability to work collaboratively while managing work independently.
