Responsibilities
* Create a nurturing, learner‐centred and orderly environment aligned with curriculum policies for students with disabilities.
* Collaboratively develop and implement inclusive education practices, curriculum programmes and pedagogy; evaluate effectiveness, assess and report student progress to stakeholders.
* Implement adaptive, equitable teaching strategies.
* Oversee the development of Personalised Support Plans that clearly outline teacher‐readable adjustments in compliance with NCCD timelines.
* Engage in professional renewal activities to enhance student outcomes.
* Work with leadership, colleagues and other staff to contribute to the professional life of the school.
* Provide effective student supervision.
* Establish positive pastoral care relationships and support spiritual and moral development.
* Encourage participation of the school and students in the life of the church.
* Engage the wider community in learning and teaching programmes.
* Support the school in special events and celebrations.
About You
* Knowledge of policies, practices and strategies that support students with disabilities.
* Experience in curriculum development and adaptation for diverse student needs.
* Understanding of the NCCD and experience in developing learning profiles and adjustments.
* Effective classroom management skills to create a nurturing and safe environment.
* Ability to build community partnerships that enhance learning experiences.
* Relevant qualifications and contemporary skills (details to be confirmed with the hiring team).
* Non‐religious affiliation is acceptable; identification with Catholic values is not required.

* Current registration with Queensland College of Teachers.
