We are recruiting a permanent full-time FP&A Analyst- ANZ to join our friendly and professional finance team based at our APAC Northgate Head Office to partner and advise our Sales, Marketing & Digital teams.
Reporting to the Head of Commercial Finance- APAC, this important role for our business success will support financial planning, analysis, and reporting processes to enable informed business decision-making. This role partners with our key stakeholders across the organisation to provide insights into financial performance, support budgeting and forecasting, and drive improved commercial outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
* Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts
* Maintain and update financial models to reflect business assumptions
* Support scenario modelling and long-term financial planning
* Monitor actual performance against budgets and forecasts
* Analyse financial results, identifying variances and key drivers
* Provide actionable insights to support cost optimisation and revenue growth
* Conduct ad hoc analysis to support strategic and operational decisions
* Identify risks and opportunities impacting financial performance
* Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual management reports
* Develop dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibilityEnsure accuracy and consistency of financial data and reporting
* Present insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders
* Collaborate with functional teams (e.g. Sales, Marketing and Digital) to support planning and performance tracking
* Provide financial guidance and support to non-finance stakeholders
* Improve financial reporting processes and forecasting methodologies
* Support implementation of systems and tools to enhance efficiency
* Drive standardisation and best practices in financial planning
* Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs)
* Support initiatives to improve financial performance and cost control
* Assist in evaluating business cases and investment proposal
Skills and experience
* Tertiary qualifications in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field
* Mature experience in FP&A, Finance or Commercial analysis in the FMCG industry (highly desired)
* Strong financial modelling, advanced Excel skills and solid understanding or experience using BI reporting tools such as Power BI
* Relevant systems and tools experience ideal (Advanced excel, Dynamics 365, Power BI, IQVIA, IRI)
* Experience in techniques related to forecasting, budget management and risk assessment
* Ability to build effective business partnering relationships, including an ability to analyse, evaluate and develop options and solutions
