Job Title: Titanium Process Specialist
The primary objective of this role is to manage the chemical cleaning process for castings, ensuring they are thoroughly cleaned and prepared for inspection and reworking.
Key responsibilities include accurately preparing, operating, and maintaining tanks used for chemical cleaning, as well as applying fluorescent penetrant on castings to prepare them for inspection.
Additionally, this role involves preparing castings for evaluation by the fluorescent penetrant system.
Essential Responsibilities:
* Chemical Bath Management: Monitor and adjust alkaline concentration, bath etch rates, and chemical additions to ensure optimal process control.
* Cleaning and Rinsing: Submerge parts in chemical tanks according to specified procedures for further inspection and/or processing.
* Penetran Line Operation: Complete all steps in the preparation and application of penetrant to castings.
* Process Documentation: Maintain accurate logs and records, including alkaline concentration, bath etch rates, chemical additions, and part lots.
* Maintenance and Housecleaning: Regularly maintain equipment and work area to prevent safety hazards and ensure efficient workflow.
* Safety Procedures: Adhere to established safety protocols and take responsibility for personal safety and the safety of others.
