Senior Electrical Engineer

About you
You're an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and delivering high‐quality engineering outcomes. You bring strong domain knowledge, sound judgement, and the confidence to lead investigations, guide others, and make informed engineering decisions.
Responsibilities
* Lead multi‐domain technical investigations and apply engineering judgement to resolve complex issues.
* Produce and review technical documentation, designs and calculations.
* Support technical reviews and present engineering information to internal and external stakeholders.
* Conduct technical risk assessments and ensure product safety considerations are met.
* Ensure engineering standards, procedures and codes are correctly applied.
* Contribute to business development activities and bid preparation.
* Support process improvement initiatives across the engineering lifecycle.
* Mentor and support colleagues to build technical capability.
Qualifications
* Australian citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain Commonwealth Security Clearance.
* Approximately 6 years' experience in relevant technical or engineering roles.
* Strong understanding of engineering toolsets (e.g., PLM, MRP, design, simulation and analysis software).
* An accredited engineering degree (Washington Accord) or equivalent qualifications eligible for Professional Engineer membership.
* Membership of a relevant engineering body, ideally with chartered status or working towards it.
* A current driver's licence and White Card.
