About the Role

Full-time Speech Pathologist position based in Mount Isa, collaborating with specialists to provide holistic treatment across a diverse range of cases in regional North Queensland.

* Administer standardised and informal assessments within a multidisciplinary team to determine the nature and extent of speech, language, learning and communication disorders or swallowing difficulties.
* Provide treatment and management including ongoing therapy of speech, language, learning and communication disorders that may be developmental, part of a disability, acquired as a result of injury or disease.
* Deliver family‐centred early childhood intervention strategies.
* Work with a diverse range of clients in rural and remote communities, ensuring high‐quality local care.

About You

* Registered or eligible to obtain Speech Pathology Australia membership.
* A QLD Blue Card and NDIS worker screening.
* Current, unrestricted 'C' class Australian driver's licence.
* Right to live and work in Australia.
* Passion for providing quality health care to rural communities.
