About the Role:
An exciting permanent, full-time opportunity has just opened up to join our Intensive Therapeutic Care (ITC) team as a Manager, Casework on the Central Coast. This is more than a leadership role—it's a chance to shape futures, build resilience, and guide young people toward brighter outcomes.
The main objective of the role is to lead and support a team of Case Managers to deliver high-quality, trauma-informed care through CatholicCare's Intensive Therapeutic Care model. You'll provide supervision, coaching, and professional development while fostering a culture of best practice, accountability, and collaboration. Flexibility for occasional weekend and on-call work is required.
What You'll Do:
* Lead and mentor a team of Case Managers, fostering a culture of excellence and trauma-informed care.
* Deliver high-quality casework through CatholicCare's Intensive Therapeutic Care model.
* Provide supervision, coaching, and professional development to your team.
* Drive best practice and continuous improvement aligned with OCG Accreditation Standards.
* Support young people and families through permanency planning and connection to specialist services.
* Collaborate with stakeholders including DCJ and the Office of the Children's Guardian.
* Prepare reports and contribute to strategic planning and service delivery.
You will need to have:
* Degree in Social Work, Psychology or related field.
* 4+ years' experience in casework (OOHC/child protection preferred).
* 2+ years' experience managing teams with a contemporary leadership approach.
* Strong understanding of trauma, child development, and therapeutic care.
* Knowledge of Restoration, Preservation, Adoption and Guardianship.
* Budget and care package management experience.
* Unrestricted driver's licence and access to a vehicle.
