About the opportunity
We are seeking a motivated and forward-thinking Traffic Engineer with 3–5 years' experience who is eager to contribute to significant projects shaping the future of the Gold Coast. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow, learn, and continue their professional development within a supportive and collaborative environment.
Reporting to our Senior Engineer (RPEQ), you will be responsible for delivering traffic engineering services across a diverse range of projects. Your work will include:
* Traffic impact assessments
* Pavement impact assessments
* Road safety assessments
* Intersection analysis and design
* SIDRA modelling and assessment
* Preparation of fee proposals and contributions to major bids
* A balanced mix of technical delivery and project management
About you
You will thrive in this role if you are proactive, detail-oriented, and committed to producing high-quality work. We are looking for someone who has:
* Completed a Bachelor of Engineering
* 3–5 years' experience in traffic engineering
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Experience in using SIDRA, AutoTURN and AutoCAD
* A professional and client-focused approach
* Be self-motivated and have a strong work ethic
* Able to work both independently and collaboratively
