Finance Officer (All-Rounder | Transformation Focus) NHR Staffing Group Location: Office-based (Australia) Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role NHR Staffing Group is seeking a motivated and capable Finance Officer (All-Rounder) to join a finance function that is actively evolving and modernising. This is a hands-on role that goes beyond day-to-day processing. You will contribute to building a streamlined, efficient, and technology-enabled finance function, supporting payroll, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and financial reporting while helping drive meaningful process improvement and system enhancement. What You’ll Be Doing You will play a key role across core finance functions, including: End-to-end payroll processing, compliance, and reporting Managing accounts payable and receivable, including invoicing, reconciliations, and collections Supporting financial reporting, budgeting, and forecasting activities Ensuring compliance with taxation, payroll legislation, and regulatory requirements Assisting with month-end, year-end, audit, and reporting processes Identifying opportunities for process improvement, automation, and system enhancement Supporting the development of clear procedures, systems, and internal controls About You You are a well-rounded finance professional who thrives in a dynamic environment and enjoys both operational work and improvement-focused initiatives. You will bring: Accounting qualification (or equivalent experience) Strong experience across payroll, AP, AR, and financial reporting Solid understanding of GST, payroll legislation, and compliance frameworks Strong analytical ability and attention to detail Experience working with finance systems and improving processes Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills A proactive, solutions-focused mindset Desired Experience in aged care or regulated environments Experience implementing automation or digital transformation initiatives Why Join Us?
