Salesforce Developer

* Initial End Date: 30th June 2026. It will hopefully extend, but no guarantees
* Pay Rate: $1,000 per day, plus Super ($1,120 per day, plus GST if an ABN)
* Location: 105 Philip Street, Parramatta (there is an expectation to work from office at least 50% of the time)
* Working With Childrens Check (WWCC) will be required (can apply for upon offer, but can cause delays)
Key Stakeholders (the successful candidate will be dealing with day to day): Product Owner, Project Manager, Developers, Testers and BAs.
Responsibilities (include):
1. Creating custom solutions by designing and developing Salesforce applications.
2. Participate in the entire software development life cycle, including requirements gathering, design, coding, testing and deployment.
3. Supporting, maintaining and improving the working of existing Salesforce applications for optimal functionality.
4. Creating and maintaining integrations with other applications and systems using web services and APIs.
5. Collaborating with stakeholders and other developers to identify and implement improvements for the system.
6. Ensuring compliance with security and development standards of Salesforce.
7. Develop and maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex, Visualforce and other technologies.
Required Skills, Experience and Qualifications:
* 10 years Salesforce Development (hands-on experience) - including Apex, Visualforce and other Salesforce development technologies.
* 10 years of demonstrable experience of Salesforce administration, including Salesforce lightning framework, Salesforce Public Sector Solutions, Education Cloud, Salesforce service cloud and Business Rules Engine.
* Must have experience in Salesforce Data Model, including standard and custom objects, relationships and fields.
* Must have the ability to communicate technical concepts effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
* Experience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript and jQuery.
* Ability to work with Salesforce Community Cloud or other collaboration tools.
* Knowledge of DevOps and continuous integration/deployment (CI/CD) processes.
* Must hold active verifiable Salesforce Certifications like Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I or II, App Builder etc. Ideally possess additional Advanced Developer Certifications.
* Government experience is preferred.
* Team player, able to adapt to a culturally diverse team.
* Bachelor's degree in software engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
