Are you passionate about sustainable agriculture and soil health? Join us as a Senior Agronomist for the Cool Soil Initiative, where you'll lead and manage farmer engagement across Australia. This role is pivotal in recruiting, onboarding, and retaining farmers, while providing on-ground support in the Riverina region. You'll also offer expert advice to enhance soil health education and foster strong communication with farmers, researchers, and stakeholders.
In this role, you'll lead the recruitment and retention of farmers, collaborate with various networks to align grower activities, and build strong relationships with stakeholders. You'll oversee on-farm demonstration sites, facilitate peer learning at grower events, and produce technical content tailored to farmer and industry audiences. Additionally, you'll contribute to grant applications, mentor team members, and represent the Cool Soil Initiative in external forums.

About you
* You will have a degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Science, or a related field
* Proven experience in agronomy, with a focus on soil health and sustainable agriculture
* Bring Strong leadership and project management skills
* Be passionate about sustainable agriculture and improving soil health
