About the role

We are seeking a talented Service Desk Engineer Level 1/2 to join our dynamic IT support team at Aurora IT in Bowral, NSW. This full-time role will involve providing first-line IT support and resolving a variety of technical issues for our education clients. You will be required to attend our office in Bowral NSW for a minimum of 2 days per week.

What you'll be doing

- Providing efficient and effective first-line IT support to clients via phone, email and remote access
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting hardware, software and network-related issues
- Logging, escalating and tracking support tickets using our internal ticketing system
- Collaborating with the IT team to develop and document technical solutions
- Updating client records and maintaining accurate documentation
- Adhering to IT support service level agreements and customer service standards

What we're looking for

- A minimum of 2-5 years of experience in a customer-facing IT support or service desk role
- Solid technical troubleshooting skills and knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively liaise with clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team to deliver high-quality support
- Passion for providing exceptional customer service and a commitment to ongoing learning
