Due to an increased demand within our business, SYPAQ are seekinga Capability Dependency and ILS Manager with Defence experience for a long-term opportunity with a Defence client. The role offers a start in the new financial year and is a contract of 24 months. The role is based in Canberra and will be an office-based role.
Overview:
The Capability Dependency and ILS Manager is responsible for the coordination and prioritisation of the capability interdependencies and the coordination of the delivery of the fir-for-purpose Integrated Logistics System. The Capability Dependency and ILS Manager will have relevant experience in military networking and integrated logistics, strong contemporary understanding of the Defence Strategic Review, Clients capability context and expertise in analysis, engagement and communication.
Roles and Responsibilities:
* Lead the identification, detailed description, mapping and confirmation of technical compliance of Clients sponsored capabilities with dependant projects, capabilities and enabling dependencies.
* Lead coordination of contemporary and fit for purpose Integrated Logistics Services for Departments projects and capabilities.
* In accordance with management guidance, prioritise, plan, coordinate and execute engagements with dependents, in support of dependency and ILS management and coordination.
* Represent Department's interests in dependency management forums and be a conduit for information exchange between the Department and dependency stakeholders.
* Collaborate, coordinate and inform the delivery of contemporary Integrated Logistics System(s) for Departments sponsored capability.
* Record publish, maintain and disseminate Department's dependency data in the required artefacts and repositories including maintaining summary data in Capability One.
* Record publish, maintain and disseminate Department's ILS data in the required artefacts and repositories including maintaining summary data in Capability One.
* Represent the leadership across Service and Group Headquarters (HQs), interfacing projects, and specialist areas within Defence, as directed.
Mandatory skills, qualifications and experience:
* Previous experience in relevant field.
* Experience in operating and/or maintaining network communications.
* Experience in sustaining military communications capability.
* Experience in One Defence Capability System.
* Experience in delivering communications technologies
