Position Profile: The Clinical Midwife Manager Maternity provides clinical and team leadership, effective management and is responsible for standards of nursing/midwifery practice and monitoring patient care and outcomes in area of responsibility to ensure safe and efficient service provision.
The Clinical Midwife Manager Maternity is also responsible for the human, material and financial management of resources within areas of responsibility including KPI and reporting requirements.
The position provides a multi-disciplinary approach to patient care and provision of services to internal and external customers.
Facilitates a culturally capable service delivery based on a partnership approach with individuals, families and communities to promote participation in their own health care.
