About the Role
Reporting to the Safety Manager, the Junior Safety Officer plays a key support role in implementing and monitoring WHS policies, procedures, and training programs. You’ll assist with site inspections, incident investigations, compliance reporting, and help drive a strong safety culture across our teams and subcontractors.
This role is ideal for someone early in their HSE journey who is eager to learn, grow, and contribute to the safety of others.
Key Responsibilities
* Support safety audits, inspections, and incident investigations
* Coordinate training programs and monitor qualifications and certifications
* Assist with safety documentation and data entry (1Breadcrumb / ServiceNow)
* Help maintain safety reporting systems and compliance registers
* Keep accurate daily records of site activity, hazards, and material deliveries
* Work collaboratively with project teams to maintain a safe work environment
What We’re Looking For
* White Card & First Aid Certificate (mandatory)
* Exposure to construction or site environments (internships or entry-level experience welcome)
* Basic understanding of WHS legislation and industry best practices
* Strong attention to detail and communication skills
* Willingness to travel to various sites
* Eagerness to learn and grow within the HSE field
