This role plays a critical part in ensuring the smooth operation of clinical and administrative services while providing exceptional front-line support to clients accessing mental health and wellbeing services.
About the Role
As a Practice Officer, you will provide front line customer service and operational support across multiple service delivery streams. You will be the first point of contact for clients, contracted health providers and stakeholders, supporting both in person reception and phone enquiries.
You will also contribute to the coordination of referrals, office management, financial administration, reporting and support functions that enable high quality service delivery to the veteran and families community.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide front of house reception and phone support
* Deliver administrative support across all service delivery streams
* Act as the first escalation point for client, provider and stakeholder enquiries
* Coordinate administrative requirements for client referrals to internal and external providers
* Manage correspondence and client information across referral platforms and client management systems
* Support the delivery of group programs and mental health literacy workshops
* Assist with induction and administrative training for new employees and contracted providers
* Undertake financial administration tasks including procurement documentation, invoice processing, payment reconciliation, and expenditure tracking
* Provide office management support including property, asset, IT, and travel coordination
* Support quality assurance, compliance activities, audits, reporting and operational data management
* Supervise and support Level 3 Service Support Officers through task allocation, performance monitoring, and identifying training needs

A current Working with Children Check (WWC) and/or Vulnerable People Clearance must be obtained prior to commencement.
You will receive
* Competitive Hourly Rate: $54.88 - $58.53 p/h + super
* Full Time Hours
* 24 month contract
