Key Responsibilities
The Workplace Trainer will be responsible for providing training and, where required, assessment activities for all Environmental Services staff.
Establish and manage partnerships with external training providers and internal subject matter experts to deliver relevant, high‐quality training and assessment programs.
Analyse training needs and assessment outcomes to recommend appropriate learning solutions and delivery methods.
Design, implement and facilitate compliant, industry‐aligned learning programs that support continuous improvement in workplace practice.
Develop and maintain resource networks to support employee career pathways, future training opportunities and workforce development.
Ensure compliance with OH&S policies, procedures and legislative requirements, including maintaining up‐to‐date mandatory training.
Identify, report and support the management of incidents and hazards, contributing to the planning and implementation of workplace health and safety measures.
Qualification & Experience
* Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116 or equivalent) or working towards it, with a current Victorian Driver's Licence and Food Handlers Certificate.
* High‐level computer proficiency and strong administrative, organising and documentation skills.
* Well‐developed presentation, communication and consultation skills, with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
* Strong empathy, cultural awareness and a service‐oriented approach, with the ability to exercise sound judgement and maintain confidentiality.
* Excellent time management and attention to detail, with the ability to prioritise and manage workloads independently and within a team.
* Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with a commitment to quality and continuous improvement.
