We're on the hunt for a skilled Fitter to join our team at Carma! In this role, you'll handle everything from prepping and reassembling vehicles to ensuring every car meets our high standards. If you're detail‐focused, thrive in a fast paced workshop, and enjoy seeing a job done right, we want you!
What you'll be doing?
* Prepping vehicles for repairs by removing and disassembling panels and parts.
* Reassembling and refitting vehicles post‐repair, ensuring they're road‐ready and Carma‐approved.
* Keeping our internal system up to date with work orders and job details—accuracy is key!
* Checking vehicle functionality and quality standards post‐repair.
* Collaborating with the team, especially painters, to ensure smooth workflows and accurate timelines.
* Solving problems on the go and suggesting ways to improve our processes.
Okay, let's talk about you:
* At least 1 year of experience in automotive fitting or panel beating.
* Able to handle a busy, dynamic workshop with changing priorities.
* Detail‐oriented and proud of the quality of your work.
* Skilled at meeting deadlines.
* Tech‐savvy – experience with Apple products or DMS systems is a bonus.
* Clean NSW driver's license and a can‐do attitude!
In this role you'll be based in our St Peters, Sydney site, with room for parking and train/bus stops nearby.
