Senior Energy Strategist
A leading airport operator seeks a Senior Energy Strategist to drive the performance and growth of its embedded energy networks. In this role, you will develop and execute a comprehensive business unit strategy for energy assets, focusing on optimisation of infrastructure and enhancement of capital value.
As a key member of the executive team, you will lead the development of annual budgets, revenue forecasting, cost control, and benchmarking asset performance against industry standards. You will also oversee feasibility studies for new and upgraded energy infrastructure, procure and manage wholesale energy supply contracts, and negotiate energy retail agreements with customers.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience in developing and implementing business strategies for energy assets, with a strong background in feasibility assessments, renewable energy solutions, and contract negotiation within the energy sector. A degree or master's in business, engineering, energy management, or a related field is required. Experience delivering on ESG initiatives, particularly through NABERS enhancement strategies, will be highly regarded.
You will work closely with teams across Facilities, Electrical, Environmental, Finance, Legal, and Project Management to ensure operational alignment, strategic execution, and continued delivery of safe, efficient, and environmentally conscious energy services. Acting as project sponsor on new and upgraded energy assets, your leadership will directly influence the organisation's long-term sustainability and commercial outcomes.
