Tamworth Hospital is seeking Registered Nurses (RN’s) to work across multiple wards. You will be offered the opportunity to rotate through a variety of departments or develop your expertise within a specialty area that matches your passion.

You will be supported with supernumerary shifts to aid learning of the role and will receive ongoing support from other RNs and the Nurse Unit Manager (NUM). Tamworth Hospital champions professional growth and encourages all staff to pursue ongoing professional development.
Where You’ll Be Working
Tamworth Hospital is the principal referral hospital for the northern sector of the Hunter Recent England Local Health District (HNELHD), servicing over 180,000 people. A major rural referral facility, it provides a wide range of specialist services including emergency, medical, surgical, maternity, critical care, mental health, rehabilitation, and outpatient services.

Qualifications & Requirements
- Current registration as a Registered Nurse with the authority to practice with AHPRA.
- Eligibility for permanent employment requires Australian citizenship or permanent residency, or New Zealand citizenship with a current Current Zealand passport. Employment of a temporary visa holder may only occur if no suitable local candidate is available and would be subject to visa conditions.
