Overview
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Full-Time Food & Beverage Supervisor to lead our Sushi Sushi outlet at Sunshine Coast University Hospital. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting day-to-day operations, leading a team, delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining food safety standards, and driving strong commercial outcomes. The hours of work are Monday to Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily outlet operations ensuring efficiency and consistency
* Maintain high food quality and presentation standards
* Ensure adherence to opening/closing procedures
* Support rostering and labour optimisation
* Deliver exceptional customer service
* Resolve complaints in a timely and professional manner
* Maintain high presentation standards
* Drive a customer-first culture
* Drive upselling and product availability
* Lead, coach, and develop team members
* Support onboarding and training
* Foster a positive, inclusive team culture
* Address performance and behaviour concerns
Qualifications
* Eye for detail; hands-on with Asian cuisine experience is highly desirable
* Previous experience in a Food & Beverage or Hospitality supervisory role
* Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
* Experience managing teams and operational workflows
* Exceptional customer service
* Current Food Handlers Certificate
* Current Food Safety Supervisor Certificate
* Strong work ethic, positive attitude, and commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes
