Overview
GHD's Intern Program provides a three‐month summer internship for students in their penultimate or pre‐penultimate year. The program offers real experience, industry connections, and an introduction to a graduate career with GHD.
Responsibilities
* Collaborate with design teams to deliver projects.
* Support bid and tender preparation.
* Participate in the broader Intern challenge.
* Receive and incorporate meaningful feedback throughout the internship.
Qualifications
* Current penultimate or pre‐penultimate student in engineering, science, project management, architecture, or a related field.
* Strong academic record and clear communication skills.
* Demonstrated interest in consulting and willingness to contribute to cross‐disciplinary projects.
Application Process
* Submit CV, cover letter, and transcript.
* Screening of applications.
* Virtual assessment – recording responses and completing cognitive games.
* Face‐to‐face interview with the prospective team.
* Offer stage – discussion of salary, start date, onboarding, and pre‐first‐day expectations.
Internship Details
Internships commence in November and conclude in mid‐late February. Selected interns may continue working with GHD on a casual basis after the formal internship period.
