Riding Session Assistants play a crucial role in supporting riders and maintaining the smooth operation of our equine centre.
Job Responsibilities
* Assisting riders with their sessions
* Leading horses to ensure rider safety and confidence
* Providing support to riders by walking beside them during sessions
* Maintaining the tack area, ensuring equipment is clean and organized
* Timekeeping to optimize session schedules
* Ensuring safe access to the riding arena through effective gate management
* Contributing to clubhouse maintenance, including cleaning and organization
In addition to these key responsibilities, Riding Session Assistants may be involved in other activities that contribute to the overall efficiency and success of the centre. These can include light clubhouse cleaning, maintaining tack storage areas, and performing other tasks as required.
We offer training for those with little or no experience working with horses, so prior knowledge is not necessary. However, an interest in horse care and welfare is advantageous.
