About the School
William Stimson Public School is opening a new public preschool as part of the NSW Government's commitment to deliver 100 new public preschools by 2027. The School Administration Officer works to support the principal with a range of activities including record keeping, bookkeeping, reception, equipment maintenance, purchasing, and stock preparation.
Responsibilities
* Assist the principal with school, classroom, and office activities (e.g., record keeping, bookkeeping, reception).
* Operate and maintain classroom and office equipment.
* Purchase supplies and prepare/maintain stock and learning/resource materials.
* Work with teachers and children to support classroom operations.
* Perform tasks in office procedures, accounting procedures, word processing, computer and office equipment operation, library and hospitality procedures, design and technology, and science (as required).
* Commit to protecting and promoting the safety, wellbeing and rights of all children.
Qualifications and Requirements
* Compliance with the Children (Education and Care Services) National Law (NSW) and Education and Care Services National Regulations (NSW).
* Adherence to NSW Department of Education policies and practices for public preschools.
* Commitment to child safe practices and requirements.
Special Notes
This position is split into two roles: Preschool – one day per week, K‐6 – three days per week.
Commencement: Day 1 Term 3, 2026 (20 July 2026).
